About us

Amman Jazz Festival is now in its 8th year! To celebrate diversity and cultural fusion the festival will present a great variety of Jazz music to the public, from American jazz to European avant-garde as well as Latin, jazz fusion and everything in between.

Concerts will take place at Al Shams Theatre, The Amman Staircases, Blue Fig, Corner's Pub, The Boulevard and more!

Festival’s Mission and Objectives:

• To retain our position as a major Jazz destination in the Middle East by maintaining our annual, highly recognized festival on the map of Jazz music festivals internationally.

• To promote cultural music awareness by providing quality performances, programs, and educational opportunities in music, with a focus on Jazz and all its offshoots.

• To enrich the audiences’ experiences by providing the opportunity to be exposed to fresh and high quality forms of music with very affordable ticket prices or for free, and in easily accessable, popular locations.

• To contribute to the development and sustainability of the independent music sector by promoting and supporting Jordan’s musicians and emerging talents.

• To promote cross-cultural cooperation and encourage the diversity of cultural expressions between Jordan and the global village, while emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural identity.
